Our speaker for the November Mufon meeting will be Dr Frank B Salisbury. He will be speaking at Hunter Library 4800 W 4100 S 2pm November 28th. Here is his impressive bio..he also spoke at the MUFON conference in Denver last summer. He would appreciate the use of a projector and the willingness of someone to assist him using it. Anyone wanting to volunteer their time and projector please contact me so I can let Dr Salisbury know. I think he said that his book on UFO's in the Uinta Basin was selling for $80.00.
Biography: Frank B. Salisbury
Frank Boyer Salisbury grew up in Springville and Salt Lake City, Utah. After a year in the U. S. Army Air Force, he served as an LDS missionary in Switzerland. As a teenager, he led hikes and taught nature and crafts at two scout camps, Tracy Wigwam and Camp Steiner, where he began a life-long fascination with biology in general and botany in particular—as well as all the physical sciences. B.S. and M.A. degrees in botany and biochemistry at the University of Utah were followed by a doctoral degree in plant physiology and geochemistry at the California Institute of Technology (1955). After a year teaching ecology, general biology, and other subjects at Pomona College (substituting for a professor on sabbatical), he spent eleven years at Colorado State University, then moved to Utah State University to become department head of the newly organized Plant Science Department in the College of Agriculture. He resigned as department head after four years to spend more time writing, then continued at Utah State for a total of 31 years. He retired in 1997, served with his wife in the Ohio Columbus Mission, returned to live in Salt Lake City, and has since been working on writing projects.
He has authored or coauthored 15 books including a basic text in plant physiology that went through four editions and was translated into several languages, including Chinese, Italian, Spanish, and others. His two books on science and religion include Truth: By Reason and By Revelation and The Creation. His most recent book, The Case for Divine Design: Cells, Complexity, and Creation, presents both sides of the intelligent-design debate with little reference to theology.
He spent over twenty years applying the scientific method to the study of matters related to UFOs. This activity led to many talks at UFO symposia and other situations, several years as a member of the National Enquirer Blue Ribbon Panel established to evaluate UFO reports, and a book based on reports collected by Joseph Junior Hicks in eastern Utah: The Utah UFO Display: A Biologist’s Report (published in 1974).
Research projects involved the physiology of flowering, plant growth under snow, growth of plants in controlled environments (to provide food and oxygen for astronauts), and plant response to gravity. He led a project to grow wheat in the Russian Space Station Mir. He spent a sabbatical year in Germany and Austria and another in Austria and Israel (The Hebrew University of Jerusalem). He took a leave of absence to work at the Atomic Energy Commission (now Department of Energy). He has been a semiprofessional photographer since college days.
Salisbury was married to L. Marilyn Olson, and they had seven children. He is presently married to Mary Thorp

No speaker has been selected as of yet. Marlee has decided to have an open forum, hoping that some people in the group will bring us up to date on their Ghost Hunting Activities. Such as Janis Moore or Brian Whitesides. I personally would be very interested in hearing about this subject, since much more of my personal research and investigations have drifted into that realm of the paranormal. If that fails, perhaps Darrell Smith, Ryan Burns, and perhaps myself could bring you up to date on recent bigfoot developments and recent excursions into the wilderness. Our MUFON and UUFOH member Troy Jackson, found numerous tracks while black powder hunting in a an undisclosed area, and was able to make a cast of an 18" bipedal creature! Perhaps Troy can bring his cast he made earlier this month, and I can bring a cast made by Dave, with assistance from Troy and I, in the Mercur / Eagle Mountain case of 2003, which is still ongoing. If all else fails, Marlee will bring several videos from the Laughlin UFO Congress. As has always been the case since Mildred left us Marlee is the glue that keeps us all together and saves all the rainy days. It would behoove us all to remember that, and individualy thank her for all the work she puts in. I sometimes wonder if we all realize and appreciate all the time and work she puts in for us behind the scenes, Let's make it a point to thank her individually!

speaker..although he says he doesn't have anything to say. So if folks will ask questions, on all the things he was talking about at December's pot luck, we'll probably be able to fill the time. He now has a
computer and connection to the web. So he will be updating current information. I haven't heard from
Mark but assume he will continue assisting Dave bringing the web site up to date.
UPDATE: I have just recieved copies of the short film "UFO HUNTERS" we (UUFOH) did with the Niagara College in 2005. I will be bring it to show at the meeting, its about 25 minutes long. I also have tons of UUFOH stickers for anyone interested $5 - 10
Several people will be leaving on February 24th for Laughlin and returning March 2nd. If anyone is interested in going, let me know as it's nice to caravan down and back. It's a 9hr trip. The August meeting wil be at my home 3315 Meadowbrook Dr (4270 S) on the 15th at 2pm. Don Anderson will be the speaker. His topics will be on Soul Attachments, Soul Retrievals, Aura Attachments, Past Lives, and Curses. He will talk about some of his experiences in relation to them. Maybe even some of his 'et' experiences. He would like to direct some of his talk to the healing arts. He may do some readings afterwards..$25.00 for half an hour or a donation. I have previously used cassette tapes that can be used to record the reading.

Richard B. Smith :On Sept 12th Richard B. Smith will be giving his Zachariah Sitchin presentation again for those who missed it last Spring. Zachariah has written 10 or 12 books taken from the Sumerian tablets about our early history...our creators and the limitations that were part of that creation. I asked Richard if he would 'segway' into some of the wingmakers material that James Naruda talks about. James has an interview with ProjectCamelot.com that is 26 pages long....print out and read at your leisure. In it he also refers to Anu, the father and his 2 sons Enlil and Enki . Another book with simillar information is Barbara Marciniak's book 'Bringers of the Dawn' written in 1994.
We will be at the Day Riverside Library 1575 W 10th North at 3pm..it may even be at 3:30pm. The folks who have it reserved from 2-3pm may take a minute to exit and Richard may take a minute to set up. I'll let you know for sure b4 then. But hey, show up and help move stuff around.

Ike is going to talk about the 1st UFO Conference he held at Alamo, Nevada. There were about 8 of us that drove over from here and he'll let us know who the speakers are for the Memorial Day weekend. Alamo is a lovely little town with motels and restraurants and a hot pool a little ways out of town.
He is also going to talk about Bob Lazar, the scientist that worked at S-4 at Area 51...until he began taking folks to the perimeter of Area 51 to show them the UFO's or exotic aircraft flying on Wednesday nites. He was quickly retired.... and the military erased all records of his ever working there..also his school records.
I met a lady, Cheryl L Deis, while I was at Troy's last week who is a medium...altho she gets her information from other sources than spirits. She will speak to the group for $85.00 an hour and give private readings for $20.00 for 15 minutes. I already have 5 people on a list for a private reading and some money has been donated towards the group reading. Let me know if you are interested in either one or both of those events.. She has not given me a Saturday when she will be available. I'll probably know soon after I get back from Laughlin on March 1st.
